By Identifying the cause of mould in your home can save you hundreds of pounds. Without this knowledge, the recurring growth and development of mould in different areas of your home can become a costly issue to deal with each winter. Mould growth can damage and degrade the surfaces it grows on, causing cosmetic damage, staining, unpleasant odours, and even structural degradation. This makes it essential to address mould growth promptly to prevent further deterioration of materials.
We are professional technicians at identifying root causes of known mould issues and making recommendations for any remediation, condensation, ventilation, heating, and relative humidity that we feel would help to stop further mould growth.
We are unable to report on mould that we cannot see. We will try to gain access where possible, but we cannot move objects we consider too heavy or fragile, such as cupboards, beds, ornaments, pictures on walls, vases, etc., nor can we lift floor coverings without permission.

We will notify you if there are any dampness in the property. We do not offer any advice on how to treat the dampness unless we assume it is through condensation or hygroscopic / efflorescence salts which can draw damp patches out.

We can give advice to the occupiers while on site, as well as some written information regarding ventilation, condensation, heating, and relative humidity, and what effect mould can have on their health.
We will send you our report within 8 hours of the inspection in the form of a pdf, which will include our findings and causes and any recommendations to help stop any further mould growth and remediation if needed.
The purpose of our report is to prevent further mould growth and identify the reasons for mould development within the property.
We send a message via WhatsApp, text, or phone one or two days prior to confirm our attendance.
An invoice will be sent to you that is payable a day before the inspection. We accept credit or debit cards by link or bank transfer. The amount is the total; there is no added VAT.
Our charges are based on travel time and cost from our location in Essex to your property; there will be a slightly higher charge if we travel further to cover the extra cost.
The report will be written in the name of the client named on the invoice. Unless expressly stated otherwise,.
It's understandable that there may be a few questions following the receipt of your report. We respectfully ask that these be emailed or phoned to us within a week of us emailing you the report, while the inspection is fresh in our minds, and that we will get back within 8 hours to answer any questions, unless you tell us there is greater urgency.
